Cole loved t-ball last season, but this season, he has been EVEN more excited because he has so many of his little buddies from church on his team. We are playing in the Germantown league this time, and somehow the dads managed to get all our kids on the same team. We are the Mets which works out perfectly color-wise for the cheerleading stuff we already had at home. And of course, Jordan had to be their cheerleader! Cole had several big fans at his first game!
Warm-ups with Coach Dad…
Waiting in the dugout…
He was first at bat in the 1st inning and connected with the 2nd pitch! He was pumped! He had a little help from the stands…
“Go Mets Go!”
He scores!!! So cute that he wanted to slide in…
He played in the pitcher’s position on defense, and I was so proud of the way he stopped the other team’s hits and threw to first. Such a little stud!
He was so excited about his first game, how he played, etc. He was sure that his team won- even if we didn’t keep score. I was also proud of the way that he cheered for his teammates and high-fived them for good plays. He even made friends with the other team’s second baseman. They chatted it up for quite a while in the first inning. Just like his Daddy and can talk to anyone! ;)
Team Cheer!
Looks like it will be a fun season for sure!
