We went to the pool yesterday afternoon with Murray. It was perfect because it has been so hot lately, and the water felt great! The kids loved it, and I think Murray had a pretty good time playing with his babies too! Cole even got to practice without his floatie on for a little while since both Mommy and Daddy were around. He was so excited and kept talking about how he was a big boy. We all really enjoyed it, and we are going to miss the pool! Thanks Jay and Lucille for always being so selfless with it and letting us use it whenever. We love you guys!

M-I-C…K-E-Y
MOUSE!!!
Cole really wanted a Mickey Mouse birthday party this year so we decided to have one for him here in Louisville with his buddies before we move. He is now sure that he is already 3 years old, but it will actually be a few more weeks. Definitely too confusing to try to explain and not worth it, so he’s 3.
We decorated the gym at church and had all his friends bring their bikes, scooters, etc. We brought his scooter, but what he didn’t know was that his big present was a new big boy bike. He was so excited and literally only came off that bike to open his other presents and have Happy Birthday sung to him. He didn’t eat any pizza or even any cake or ice cream! You know you did good when they are that into their gift! Very fun for us!
He was so proud to ride his bike just like Daddy that they had to go on a special night time ride when we got home.
We love you Cole! You are the best “almost” 3 year old ever!
Congrats Matt & Alicia!!!
This past weekend, the kids and I headed up to Indianapolis with my parents, sisters, and brother-in-law for my cousin’s wedding. Kelsey was a bridesmaid, and Jordan was a pretty little flower girl! We had a great time visiting with all our extended family, playing outside, celebrating Matt and Alicia, and dancing! Make sure you watch the videos! Haha.
We stayed with my Uncle Danny which was very exciting to Cole because he and my Aunt Judi have 2 horses! Cole even got to take Taylor for a ride with Poppy. He wasn’t totally sure about it, and who can blame him… the horse is huge next to him. He did great though, and he keeps asking to go back to Uncle Danny’s house so he must have liked it ok. Getting acquainted with Taylor…
Once he got off the horse, we asked him if he was a cowboy. He said “Nope, not yet.” Haha. Neesha on the other hand is definitely a cowgirl in the making. She loves horses and gets to go to a riding camp later this summer.
Cole even convinced Mommy and Uncle Smith to ride.
Uncle Danny and Aunt Judi also have a really fun jungle gym!
About time for the wedding! Pretty, pretty girls!
Inspecting her flower… I mean seriously could she be any cuter?!?!
She is tough to see in this one, but look at the ground in front of Alicia. She was the perfect little picture taker.
Which was nice because she was not the perfect little “down the aisle” flower girl. In her defense, the little boy being held by his mom in this picture started screaming as soon as she set him in the wagon which scared Jordan. She stopped crying once the wagon started moving, but then the big ring bearer dropped the fake ring, thought it was the real ring, stopped the wagon and went into a panicked search for it. Lack of motion and a lot of unfamiliar faces got Jordan started again… and she did perfect at rehearsal. Oh well… Haha.
Lovin’ some Nonny and Poppy time!
And Aunt Kelsey knows how to win Cole’s heart… chocolate cake!
And then they hit the dance floor… Cole did not leave the dance floor the rest of the night. He danced his little heart out.
Sissy has surprisingly good rhythm!
Cole’s moves are all Murray- especially the “musical” skips at the end! Hahaha.
PARTY!
My “little” sister Neesha is growing up! Taller than her Momma now and proud of it!
Slow-dancing with my little guy…
LOVE these 2 couples… sneakily caught their sweet moments on camera.
Cole already turning his Momma down for other girls. They don’t get much prettier than Ainsley though. Look at his proud face. Haha.
Not to be showed up, Jordan found herself a little man…
And my silly Uncle Darren (Father of the Bride) really knows how to liven up a party… Haha. No- those are not his real teeth.
