We really enjoyed Thanksgiving this year! Cole and Jordan had a lot of fun with crafts they had to do for school, and they loved making turkey cookies and getting to dress up for their Thanksgiving Feast! They had also made cute placemats and table decorations at school. Cole and Jordan didn’t exactly stuff themselves on the food, but Hayes had a field day on the leftover cookies while we were there!
We spent Thanksgiving Day in Huntingdon with all of Murray’s family. The kids loved seeing the horses behind Grandmama Sara’s house!
Friday we drove to Indianapolis to spend time with my family that lives there. We rarely are able to make the trip up there, and, although we had some tough road trip moments, it was nice to get to catch up with everyone! The kids definitely had some energy to get out when we got there. Luckily we had plenty of people willing to play and wrestle!
Once they burned a little steam, they did some sweet snuggling! I’m pretty sure my grandparents soaked it in!
I got a little sweet loving too! Cole was snugglin with me watching America’s Funniest Home Videos, and Hayes got a little jealous. We made it work, but unfortunately Hayes had a dirty diaper which took away a little of the pleasure. Cole cracked me up when I saw this picture…
Naughty Nonny gave Hayes a treat of Coke… Busted!!!
We stayed at my aunt and uncle’s house, and the kids were thrilled to be staying on a “farm!”
Saturday night we celebrated Christmas with everyone. We enjoyed a good meal, the kids got to make Ninja Turtle ornaments and Sock Snowmen, and the adults played a fun game of Dirty Santa. We let Cole help us play and ended up with a huge box of chocolates. He was SO excited.
We definitely have much to be thankful for this year. Including a pretty fun announcement…
