10 Months Old

Look at you big girl!  So sweet, happy, and busy these days!  You will only be 10 months for one more week, but life gets in the way of my keeping up on your posts!  Thankfully, I can keep notes in my phone so that I have a good way to remember exactly what you were doing.

You have conquered a lot physically this month.  You perfected going from your belly back into a sitting position.  This has made you so much happier because you can get to toys more easily.  You also started CRAWLING!  Just before you turned 10 months.  You have had a lot of helpers trying to encourage you!

You even have started trying to pull up in your crib!  We lowered your mattress this month just in case you figure it out all the way!

You cut your second top tooth this month too so you won't be a snaggle tooth for much longer!  I love that one tooth grin though!

You have learned to for sure say "dog" and are pretty much in love with them.  Here is a cute video Nonny took of your playing with Lexi.

And you love your siblings.  This is a never-changing thing!  You smile bigger, laugh more, and play more happily when they are around.  You love watching them, and you are even getting in on their silliness, dance parties, and wrestling matches now!  One of the crew- for sure!

I love this succession of pictures that I took of you and Hayes.  I can tell you two are and are going to be big, big buddies!

I love watching you sleep.  You love to be all tucked up like this.  Sometimes you want your paci, sometimes you find a finger or your thumb, but usually you prefer the paci.  

You have really gotten into your toys.  You are really figuring them out and enjoying them.  It's fun to watch you inspecting them and then getting so excited when you make them do what they are supposed to do!

You have also figured out some pretty fun tricks like waving hi or playing peek-a-boo!    

And you enjoy others doing "tricks" for you too!  Hayes has mastered the "get kicked by the swinger" one, and you think it is pretty funny!  This video also shows a little bit of your fake laugh too.  You have started doing it a lot lately, and it really cracks me up!

With food you are hit or miss.  Sometimes you eat your baby food wonderfully.  Some days you remind me so much of Jordan... keeping those lips shut and telling me no!  You have begun to do better with table foods though.  You really like your baby cheetos as the kids call them and have also liked real sweet potatoes, pizza crust, and french fries.

You told me no very sweetly in that video of your refusing food, but we are definitely seeing your temper a little more these days too.  You are pretty easy-going about most everything, but there are times where you let us know that you are NOT OK with whatever is going on.  Haha.  Most of the time, you are a sweet, sweet baby though, and, temper or not, I wouldn't trade ya for anything!  ;)
