Celebrating Jordan!

IMG_8755

We had a slight hiccup (stinking stomach virus!) in our plans to celebrate Jordan’s 4th birthday, but, now that it is all said and done, I would say she had a pretty awesome birthday!  Her actual birthday went great!  We surprised her with a new (to her) dollhouse and several other special gifts along with princess balloons and donuts for breakfast!

We had to get started pretty early so Daddy could be a part of it before work, and Jordan is a lot like her Daddy in that she is a slow riser!  He was happy to carry his birthday girl downstairs though!

She was pretty excited about her Princess Pets that Kyndall picked out for her.

And you should have seen the excitement over the Hot Stamps that Cole gave her! Thank you Nick Jr. infomercials!  ;)

Hayes got her a My Little Pony puzzle!

She was so excited about the dollhouse and that there was a doll to represent everyone in our family!

We sang Happy Birthday, and she blew out 4 pink candles!

Cole got a picture of us with the birthday girl before Daddy had to leave for work, and the rest of us hurried to get ready for school!

I was able to take Jordan ChickFilA for lunch, and she was so excited to pick Emery for the friend who got to eat with us.  She was also pretty excited to hand out her pink cupcakes and cookies to her friends!

When Daddy got home from work, he had a sweet surprise for Jordan!  Her first flowers!!!  (Sidenote- I may have fallen even more in love with him for this sweetness!)

That night we got to eat at Jordan’s favorite restaurant… Japanese!  We met all my family there to celebrate Jordan and her Uncle Logan!  I love that they share this special day!

IMG_8547

Jordan was so excited that they were coming to sing to her.  We have seen them do this for others when we have been there before, but today was all about Jordan… and Logan!  ;)

So the day of her party became the day of puking!  Needless to say, we postponed and celebrated later.  It was a pretty big bummer, but a special message from a sweet princess helped Jordan feel better!

We missed having all our family there once we rescheduled, but we were really happy to still have several of her special little princess friends with us!  She wanted a Frozen Princess Craft Party… I did my best!

I wasn’t the happiest with the writing, but Jordan loved her cake.  I love making the kids’ cakes, and, as long as they keep liking them, I’ll keep making them.  She sat and stared at it for probably 15 minutes straight just asking me questions about it.  Later when she was telling her Great Grandmama Sara about her party, she specifically said “And my mom made me a special Frozen cake!”  Love her!

Hayes was quite the helper in party preparation.  Here he is “helping” decorate the cake!

And he really enjoyed grilling hamburgers and hotdogs with Daddy!  It’s a rough life!

Party favors for the boys and girls… I didn’t figure the boys wanted Frozen stuff!

When the kids all got there, hot stamps were an immediate must for all!

Then there was a lot of free play while the grown-ups ate!

Next it was time for the kids to eat.  That’s a lot of kids for just 3 families!

Present time!

IMG_8714 IMG_8723

Jordan had a special package in the mail from ELSA!  She was so excited that Elsa sent her a birthday present.  She sent her a Frozen snackee cup and an autographed picture of her and Ana that said “Happy Birthday Jordan!”  It was quite the hit!

We moved outside after presents for more playtime and cake and ice cream!

Then came the craft part of the party… Thank you Target Dollar Section!  ;)

And we finished up with a little fingernail painting courtesy of Mrs. Melissa!

We had a great time celebrating Jordan!  I am so proud of the sweet girl that she is growing up to be.  Thankful for her everyday!
