15 Months Old!

Cole turned 15 months old on the 10th... I know I'm behind. Remember when I said we have been busy? Anyway, each month I think, I wonder how much he will change by my next post, and each month I am blown away. He has gone crazy with new words, physical changes, etc.

He is starting to call family members by name (Pop, Nana, LoLo, Joe, Tom, etc). We love watching his personality develop... even if it brings about some trying moments sometimes. At his check-up we found out he weighs 21 lbs 12 oz (10%) and is 30 in tall (25%). Moving on up!

Overall, each day gets more and more fun. As always, he loves being outside... especially now that it is cooler and the mosquitoes are gone! Here are some cute pictures from today. He was loving having his daddy home (a rare thing on these Ortho months!).
Working out with Daddy... Up, down, up, down!

Watching leaves fall when Momma throws them up is so fun!

Pretending to be an airplane with Daddy! Love it!

Silly Cole & Mommy! Leaves don't go on your heads!

Aaaah Daddy!

Driving never gets old!

Who stole daddy's hat? Looking good dude!

Swinging with Mommy. Love these sweet, rare, cuddly moments!

Here are a couple videos of 2 of his newest things. He could sing this song over and over and NEVER get tired of it... sometimes I wish we could find a new favorite. Haha.

I could watch this one over and over. (Just in case you can't understand him... he is saying Elmo's World.

***Keep scrolling down... I've been a busy blogging girl!***

Where to begin... wow!

I am SO behind! We have been busy, busy! I am going to have break things into several posts because it is just too overwhelming... So for the first one I will finish our fall break activities.

First we spent a day at the zoo with Neesha and Nonny. Cole loves showing off all his favorite animals... even the fake ones.

Having a quick breakfast of Lucky Charms with Daddy before we headed to the lake with my family. We missed him!

Cole LOVES his Uncle LoLo (WoWo)! They are too cute together!

He especially loves it when Logan plays his music! #1 Groupie! Look at those moves!

Who needs a swimmie or bathing suit?!?!

Enjoying my family and a great bonfire!

To spice things up a little while we were at the lake, we headed to the metropolis of Corinth, MS and went bowling!

Showing off our fancy shoes!

Cuddling with Kels for a minute watching Momma bowl!

Shoveling sand! Cole really got into it.

Wish I could have gotten the whole process on video because it was a hilarious sequence of events, but this is all I got... not too funny, but he was into it.

Cole and Poppy are best buds! Poppy just feeds into the all boy-ness!

Loving on his Nonny!

On to Huntingdon! Fun times with Mimi, PopPop, & the rest of the gang!

Skate-boarding with Uncle Thomas!

Dance Party! Easton and the guys really know how to show Cole a good time!

Cole's new dance move he learned from Easton. Love it!

Easton shared his baby pacifier and rattle with Cole. Funny how he likes to play with them now. I'm more than happy to pretend that he is still my little baby!

Visiting Mimi at her office is SO fun!

"Ummm... you mean I'm the bigger one? Or at least the older one? =)" Hanging out with Baby Maddox- once he got over being scared of Cole. Haha. Poor baby!

So even though we had a GREAT time being with family in TN, we were SO ready to get home and see our DADDY! I just love how much my little boy loves my big boy!

Getting to drive with Daddy. One of his favorite things!

Ok... well that finishes up our fall break! Stay tuned for a 15 month post & one about our fun day with Daddy (including Halloween at the zoo with a super cute little dragon)!

Fall Break so far...

Cole and I may not be in school, but we are so glad it's fall break! Mostly because Nonny, Poppy, & Neesha came to spend it with us in Louisville!!! We have had a great time so far, and have already done so much.

They got here late Saturday night so Sunday we went to church and then ChuckECheese! My camera wasn't with me... =( Mom said the memories are in our hearts. Haha. We really did have a great time there. I haven't played games in a long time. Highlight of the night for me was when Neesha won 150 tickets playing the Wheel of Fortune game! Crazy!!!

Monday was kinda dreary and COLD so we decided it was the perfect day to check out the science center. They have a Sesame Street exhibit right now and guess who even showed up?!?! ELMO!!! I think you can tell from this picture that Cole thought Elmo was supposed to be a little smaller! Haha. By the end of our minute with him, Cole had definitely warmed up though! He tickled Elmo and gave him a high-five!

Kick that soccer ball Cole!

His favorite show... Elmo's world! Is he not so big?

He loved going through Super Grover's obstacle course with Nonny! Look at how he adores her! I love it!

Checking out the water exhibit! We had a little fit when it was time to leave here! He loved it!

Today we headed to Indiana to see my dad's family. Cole's favorite part was when we went to Uncle Danny's farm! He loved seeing all the animals!

Checking out the horse!

Riding the horse! Such a big boy!

Neesha rode next... such a pro! Looked like she had been doing it all her life!

Cole also loved running around with his cousins! He thought he was just as big as Ainsley and Abram. They were so cute to watch.

He also carried this watering can around everywhere! I may have to buy him one. Haha.

Ainsley loved Neesha. She even pushed her on the tire swing. Haha. Seems like it should have been the other way around, but Ainsley thinks she is a grown up. She told Neesha to make sure to hold on. =) Such a sweet girl!

Cole found a caterpillar! And this time, the caterpillar lived! ;)

Cole and Abram on the tire swing together. Wish we lived just a little closer so these boys could get together more often. They would have such a big time!

Sweet hugs!

Who knows what adventure tomorrow holds, and then Thursday, Cole and I are heading to the lake with my family. Poor Murray has to work. This month can't go fast enough for us so that we can have our Daddy back! Stay posted for more fun times!

Thought I'd Share...

Just a few things over the last couple days I wanted to catch ya up on...

Cole has invented a new and obviously very fun game... we play it most every day now- multiple times. Haha. He fusses at the end because he hugged me a little too hard. Gotta watch those hard collar bones!

He has started trying to snap... so cute. And he and Daddy have a special thing they will show you at the end of this video. Love them!

This week was Liz & Walker's turn for date night so we had the pleasure of having Davis over to play. I don't have 2 highchairs or even a booster seat so I resorted to an old piano lesson trick... phone books. As you can see, Davis sure didn't mind as he chowed down on chicken nuggets with ketchup!

After I took Davis' picture, he wanted me to take one of Cole. Haha. Such a funny little boy.

Who knew that my great yard sale find would be so fun! Cole is going to be sad when Nonny & Poppy haul it to Memphis... Mommy & Daddy won't be sad it's not in our carport anymore!

Swinging in the backyard!

Look at my big boy dunking that ball! 2 points!

It helps to have friends who are a little older to encourage you to do things that you might not otherwise try for a little longer... Cole watched Davis crawl up and slide down and decided he was going to do it too!

I love how well Cole & Davis play together. They are so cute.

Checking out our pumpkins... they loved them!

So... Davis took a tumble into our bush. He was totally fine, but he definitely got dirty. And he was not so thrilled with me taking a picture of it. Haha.

Poor guy!

So we definitely needed a bath after getting so dirty outside. Love those suddy heads!

And let me just say... Davis can splash!!! Look at how wet I am!

Later that night, I took a quick video of Cole riding his firetruck. Little things like this just show me all the time how big he is getting. Not long ago his feet didn't even reach the floor, much less did he have the coordination to move around!

This morning he broke my heart a little... usually we watch Sesame Street together- all cuddled up on the couch. We started out that way today, but he got up and laid on the floor like this to watch the rest of Elmo's World. I mean- is he 5?!?! All I know is it was really cute, but he better be cuddled up with me again in the morning! Haha.
