18 months!!!

I seriously cannot believe you are a year and a half... how is that even possible?!?!  You are such a sweet and sassy little thing!  You really are pretty easy-going and happy most the time, but you will let us know when you aren't loving something!  You crack us up all the time, and we all just adore you!

Here you are at your 18 month check-up celebrating Halloween!  You are getting so big.  You weigh 21 pounds 5 ounces, and you are 32 in long!  That puts you in the 10th and 50th percentiles. You have 12 teeth with 4 more on their way.  You run more than you walk these days, and you even try to jump.  It's pretty funny.  You love to be independent.  You want to do it yourself!
You are talking so much.  You say so many words, and you really are starting to put several together.  Just today you told me "shoes on me."  It's crazy to me how quickly this changes.  You also have started singing along when I sing songs to you.  You do best with Jesus Loves Me, Wheels on the Bus, and the song that goes "Kyndall Lynn, Kyndall Lynn, I love you. Yes I do. Love you very much. Love you very much. Yes I do. Yes it's true!" (to the tune of Thumpkin)  We sang that to your baby doll the other day, and it was about the cutest thing ever hearing you sing "Baby, Baby, Baby, Baby..."

You are the perfect 4th/last baby.  You love to be held, snuggle, and rock which I want since I don't want you to grow too quickly, but you also are content playing on your own and love trying to be big like the other kids which helps when I am busy!
Swinging in the big swing!
Wearing Sissy's slippers and using her chapstick...
Riding a 4 wheeler!
Going down the hill at the football games!
You love many things... baths, playing outside, snacks, coke, animals, singing, bracelets, dancing, Elmo, Daddy getting home from work, books, babies, and so much more!

You have started making sweet little friends!  Some are a little older and love to be a "momma," and others are your age and tag along with their older brothers and sisters to football and soccer games too!
Your cousins are some of your biggest buds!
But your biggest buds of all are with you almost all the time!  Between your super fun daddy and your awesome big brothers and sister, you always have someone to play with and to make you laugh!  You are one blessed little girl!

Kyndall, you are an amazing little girl!  You fill my heart up to overflowing.  Your pretty dark eyes and big smile, your giggles... whew!  Your snuggles and kisses, your determination... whew!  Your toughness and energy, your sweet curls... whew! I love watching you grow and change, but I forever want to remember you just like you are.  We love you more than we can say!

100 Book Club

Cole had his Senior Kindergarten Chapel Program and his award ceremony for the 100 book club.  He started it off with the letter "A."
He also led everyone in singing Father Abraham.
And said a sweet prayer.  I was one proud momma!
Next up was the awards ceremony...
Cole set a high goal for himself!  He didn't want to be in the 100 Book Club... he wanted to be in the 500 Book Club.  I wasn't sure we could accomplish that in 10 weeks, but he made the 100 book club in March.
And by May, he hit is 500 book mark!
He was the top boy reader in Sr. K!
Wear that medal proud, little man!  You earned it!
Proud members of the 100 Book Club!
Hayes wasn't as into it as the rest of us...
It was a great way to finish out the year.  Cole was blessed to have a wonderful teacher who helped him push toward his goal and learn to love reading.  He put it best on this assignment about 1st grade!

Cincinnati

There aren't many reasons that make me want to load up all four kids and take a 500 mile road trip.  This girl right there is actually one of the very few reasons... her and her sweet family.  It actually went ok.  Here are a couple sweet moments...
Here is part of the craziness we had to listen to a lot of the way...
It was totally worth it to watch all our babies together though.  Man... we love this family and miss them terribly!  How fun to pick right back up where we left off though!  Pretty special friendship.

Most of our time was spent just hanging out at their house.  Lots of fun and silliness occurred!
We did venture out to a mall with a cool indoor playground though.  The kids had a great time!
I embarrassed Murray so much making him take this picture at the indoor playground, but it was a huge flying pig, and he was running the Cincinnati Flying Pig Half Marathon the next day!
As always, there wasn't enough time.  Love all these kiddos and look forward to the next time we can be together again!
