You have changed so much this month! You think you are so big, and you really are in a lot of ways. You may be walking, done with your paci during wake times, and no longer shaggy-headed, but you are definitely still my snuggly baby…

You are completely walking now. You still have your fair share of falls, but you are steadier and steadier by the day. Plus you always hop back up to walk again instead of switching back to crawling. This is really making you feel big. You LOVE chasing Cole and Jordan. At church, you wanted down to run and squeal with all the other kids in our classroom. You held your own pretty well and were so proud! Still hard for me to get used to you just walking through a doorway to me though. Haha. You get frustrated about the toys in this video, but it’s the best video I have of you just walking into a room.
You even have tried out a couple indoor playgrounds. You are excited to walk around and do your own thing, but you still prefer to stay on the ground or within a couple steps of the ground. Won’t be long before you are up at the top!

We have started putting your paci night-night when you get up in the mornings and from naps. You have been doing really great with this! I haven’t decided what to do about when to take your paci completely. I struggle with take it now so it’s not as hard to take it when Kyndall has one vs. you love it and I hate to take it yet. I’ll continue my struggle and just enjoy hearing you babble and say more during wake times for now.
You do say so much now. You regularly use the words momma, dada, up, hot, uh-oh, cup, bye-bye, choo-choo, duck, and poo-poo. You think that last one is really funny. Boys… As I mentioned earlier, you also have a lot of animal sounds. Your favorite noise by far is anything that roars. Lions, dinosaurs, tigers, bears… You are also really good at quacking, barking, and meowing. You can do moo, oink, and baa as well, but you don’t enjoy those nearly as much. In addition to talking and making animal noises, you have even started “singing.”
You are pretty good at saying la la la in a singing voice and have even been caught singing “go, go” after hearing “Let it Go.” So sweet. Here is your favorite song at the moment. You are really better at it than the video shows because you can even do the “your face will surely show it” part, but stomping is definitely your favorite part!
You love to play! Your current favorite toys are animals and cars/trucks/tractors. You love to make the animal noises, and I love watching you push your vehicles around making motor noises. You also have had fun with some of the puzzles I have pulled out lately. You match the pieces pretty well, but you still need help twisting them to fit just right. And you love your books! I wish you loved to be read to a little more, but you make it tough since you have to hold the books, be in charge of turning the pages, etc… The best is when you can join in on whatever Cole and Jordan are playing. You love to be upstairs playing with Cole and Jordan’s toys, but I do often hear you “calling” me and shaking the gate to come back down to me.

As much as you love being in the middle of it all with Cole and Jordan around, you also love to be the center of attention! You are really good at wiggling your way right into my lap and have started wanting to hold my hand to pull me wherever it is you want to go. I have been trying to spend some extra time doing fun stuff with you before you are sharing time with a new little sister! You really enjoy our Chick-Fil-A breakfast dates… especially the hash brown parts!

I do think (hope) that you are going to do well with having Kyndall around. Honestly your favorite thing is to blow raspberries on my growing belly, but you also will “love” the baby by kissing my belly or laying your head on it. You get so excited at my doctor’s appointments when you hear her heartbeat. I know there’s no way you could possibly understand what it means, but it’s cute either way. You also are really into other babies. You just smile and giggle. You LOVE to give them kisses and are surprisingly really gentle. I just hope when one is around all the time (in my arms) that you are as excited.
You love to be a helper. At the store, I have to hand you things to put in the cart. You LOVE to empty the cart onto the belt at the register, and you love to use the pen on the card swipe machine. You are also pretty good at pulling out my card to hand to the cashier. Kinda scary really. At home, you LOVE to throw away your diapers or bring random items to whoever they belong to. You love to have a wipe to clean the table after you are done eating. You are also pretty good at picking up… although sometimes you like it a little too much and dump out whatever you were cleaning just so you can pick it up again.
Sweet boy, you find ways every day to make me smile. You find joy in everything and are such a happy boy. You LOVE your big brother and sister. You fuss at me about diaper changes, but, if Jordan wants to help, you just think she is so funny. You imitate everything Cole does and obviously want to be just like him. You are PUMPED when Daddy gets home from work. You have started recognizing the sound of his car locking and hurry to the door saying “Dada!” You love baths, Elmo and Mickey, being outside, eating (especially sweets), walking, and playing boo.
