Here, There, and Everywhere!

Between 3 sweet kiddos, never enough sleep, and packed schedules, I feel like I can rarely stay on top of things.  No  kidding, the other day I kept feeling like I was forgetting something.  I looked at my phone calendar to see if I had happened to put something there, and all it said was “Play Date!”  Great… do I text random friends to see if this play date was with them?  If it was, won’t that make them feel good that I can’t even remember, and, if it wasn’t, won’t that make them feel good that they weren’t invited to the play date?!?!  Haha.  I  know there are worse things to forget, but this just gives you an idea of the craziness of my brain these days!

Somehow, despite my absentmindedness, we manage, AND we have a lot of fun too!  (most the time)  Here are some pictures that I have randomly snapped along the way from our comings and goings…

Jordan had been asking and asking to go to Japanese.  I finally asked her “What do you even want to eat there?”  She immediately said “Rice!”  So we got the girl some rice!  Winking smile  She was determined to use chopsticks, and she actually did alright with the rubber banded ones.  Until she got silly on us!  She was a happy camper though!

We had not been to story time since Hayes was born.  We were pretty regular attendees prior to that so when I mentioned story time to my big two, they were PUMPED!  The funniest thing was watching how engrossed Hayes was the whole time.  I thought he would want to eat while we were there, but he would not take his eyes off the librarian!  He would smile and squeal.  So sweet and smart!

We had a quick grocery stop after story time, and Cole informed me that he was big enough to hold Hayes.  We improvised with the shopping cart, but he did hold him the whole time.  Hayes loved it too because it let him look around at everything much more.

Sweet girl passed out on a stroll the other day.  It’s been a long time since that has happened.

Look at this cutie!

And his proud big sissy!

The guys at church had a guys night to watch some of the March Madness tournament so a lot of the girls and kids met up at ChickFilA for a play date.  (I remembered.  Haha)  We had quite the crew!  Luckily for once ChickFilA wasn’t totally swamped.  We all had a great time!

We met up with my family to celebrate Murray and Justin’s birthday (only a month late).  Nonny and Poppy had a hard time eating their meals with all the loving these kiddos insisted on, but I didn’t hear any complaints.  Smile  Cole was glued to Justin’s side.  I wish I would have gotten a picture.  It was so cute.  They just sat and discussed the basketball game on tv.  Cole would reach over and put his hand on Justin’s shoulder, and his chair kept inching closer and closer to Justin’s.

I worked the children’s clothing sale at our church last week.  It was busy, busy, and little man hung with me most of the week.  Literally.  Haha.  He was a big helper though!  Until he got bored with it.

IMG_3746IMG_3747

The clothing sale went great, and my kids will be well dressed!  However, I can’t tell you how good a laid back day of snuggling my baby and spending time with this girl (and her big brother after school) was for a momma who isn’t used to being away from her babies so much!

And more randomness, but I love these 2 pictures.  Look at that sweet face and those lashes!  And check out her big girl hair do!  She requested one little ponytail in the middle.  So pretty and big!

Jordan also was invited to a birthday girls’ day with her best buddy Emery!  We took the girls to a salon to have their nails done.  They were so cute and funny about it!

So fancy!

Cole has been quite the gentleman lately picking flowers for his momma!  Loving that Spring seems to be sticking around for good now!

IMG_3859

And last but not least, Cole made this flower at school with reasons that he is special.  I love this boy so much!

Daddy Dates!

Murray works really hard to take care of our family and sometimes has to miss out on the fun that we have during the week.  We always wish he were with us because things really are so much more fun when he is around!  Lately, he has been able to spend some extra time with us on some really pretty days, and we have really enjoyed some special things with our Daddy!  First up was a zoo trip.  The kids were SO excited to show Daddy all the animals.

IMG_3609IMG_3619

And Daddy was quite the Super Dad!

IMG_3620IMG_3611

The hippos put on quite the show for us, AND we ran into some of our sweet out-of-town friends there too!  So unexpected and exciting!

IMG_3621IMG_3635IMG_3636

One reason the zoo is more fun with Daddy is that he is easily talked into the “extras!”  Mean old mom always says no.  Haha.  I think that he really just wanted to ride too.

Family photo op at the seal lion show!

Next up was a Grizz game!  The kids were beyond pumped and loved getting to wear the jersey!

IMG_2709

We were really close to the court, and the kids were actually pretty into the game.  They loved cheering for the Grizz or as Jordan called them the “beaws” (bears).

IMG_3693IMG_3694

We did check out the souvenir shop and concession stand.

IMG_3704IMG_3705IMG_3711

Showing off her growl with her PINK basketball that she said was not to play with outside. Haha.

IMG_3715

Cole picked the teddy that turns into a basketball.

Our Dates!

IMG_3724IMG_3736

The kids said Super Grizz scared away the T-Wolves!

IMG_3729

Cole said his favorite part was the streamers coming down… Jordan said her favorite part was the cheerleaders/dancers.  Little worrisome.  Haha.

IMG_3741IMG_3742

Sunday was gorgeous so we headed to the greenway for some strolling/biking.  Murray is so good to take the kids exploring and point out things along the way!  Even Hayes had fun looking around at everything!

IMG_3870IMG_3864IMG_3862IMG_3869

Look what we found! Murray actually got a little more up close and personal than he had hoped to.  He was trying to see if he could get a few beavers to swim out of their den and fell through into the den!  Only one leg went down into the hole, but you better believe he got out of there as fast as possible!  Pretty funny to watch.  Fortunately, no beavers got him, but unfortunately one of their chewed off stumps left a pretty good mark on his leg when he landed on it!  The kids thought it was awesome to see the beavers though and wanted to stay and look forever.

IMG_3877IMG_3880IMG_3882IMG_3883

We finally convinced them to move on by talking about the wishing well!

IMG_3884IMG_3892IMG_3900

Hayes decided that he would take a nap, but the rest of us moved on to look for turtles… no luck, but we did see a few fish!

IMG_3906IMG_3908IMG_3912

We had the best time and enjoyed the time outside and together!

Thankful for the blessing of my family!
